0I was a bit skeptical about a three blade fan but these Hunter fans do not disappoint!They operate very quietly and move a ton of air. I used the enclosed down rod and installed two of them in a large den (24×24’). The ceiling ht. is 12’. Very efficient in this space. My room design is transitional. These all black fans are perfect for the space. The fans are mounted to pecky cypress beams. I did need to use the enclosed balance weights on one of the fans which I attributed to mounting on the beam. I would recommend these fans if you have a modern or transitional design. Perfect if you do not need or want a fan with a light. I wasn’t sure about using a wall switch but I like using the switch. The switch allows you
to adjust three speeds and to turn off. The motor has a reverse option which you manually switch on the top of each fan.

0I absolutely love the modern look of this ceiling fan.We are using it in our kitchen.It hangs a little lower than our old fan, but not low enough for anyone to hit their head.We just won’t invite any NBA stars over for dinner.
