0After years of using a small tabletop charcoal grill, we needed a big kids grill but on a small budget. I’m a garden designer by trade and recommend grills to clients often enough so I knew exactly what I wanted in a grill and did a lot of research before buying. Pro and Con: The grill is 430 Stainless Steel as opposed to the pricier 304 grade – get a cover and you’ll be fine. A HUGE pro: It has 304 grade burners which I found other less expensive grills and many grills in this price range do not have. That was the final selling point for me. Lesser grade steel burners will need to be replaced where as the 304 will last. You absolutely want 304 grade burners. Chief complaint of most reviewers when buying grills with lesser quality burners – having to replace the cheap burners after the first or second year. Before buying a grill, check the metal type and cost of replacement burners. It’s amazing how much money is made off the cost of grill replacement parts. Replacement parts for inexpensive grills that is.
Assembly: My husband put this together in about an hour. He’s mechanically inclined so I let him have at it. Better him than me but that’s not to say I couldn’t do it. I really just didn’t want to honestly. Reading the instructions, it was pretty straight forward. Anyone could assemble this in a matter of a few hours at the most.
Use: We keep it covered with an amazing and inexpensive cover I found on a mega store website named after a jungle. I recommend this, especially because of the 430 steel grade. Cooking wise, it heats up quickly, four burners make it easy to cook various foods at the same time. The side burner, we haven’t used it yet but it works and looks cool. It’s nice to have that option. We haven’t used the rotisserie yet as well. It’s a nice bonus included with the grill.
Storage: The cabinet is open at the top in the back, like most free-standing grills. Great place to keep accessories and it holds the propane tank of course.
USB: I will be buying the accessory light so this is very nice to have.
Blue Light Up Dials: This is a cool little feature that is normally found on more expensive grills. I turn them on so I can feel fancy and high end and impress the neighbors with our light-up grill knobs.
Overall, it’s an excellent grill. I’ve also recommend this to clients with great success. It’s a loved grill for sure. You really can’t beat the price for what you get. You really are paying for a decent grill. We use it all the time, it’s worth every penny.

0This grill is AMAZING. My husband was really impressed with how well written the assembly instructions were written and how straight forward it was to put together. The only downside was that one metal piece was bent out of shape but everything is still functional and we didn’t catch it sooner because we couldn’t set it up for a few weeks, so I don’t think it’s fair to take off a star. We used it for the first time the other night and were really pleased, and can hardly wait to try the rotisserie accessory.

0Love the Grill and great price ! BUT Took us retired professionals 4 hours to put together due to front wiring (instructions not clear on electronic ignition and battery pack – black to black” wiring). Please see Google Monument Grill videos by several wise reviewers giving suggestions on wiring, etc. THANKS for a great Grill – please add clear instructions for wiring! The Parsons Family, FL

0Really enjoying the grill and the rotisserie. The LED knobs are fancy, too. Make sure when you are lighting the grill, to turn the dial to Max SLOWLY. Otherwise, you may end up with smaller than desired flames and would have to turn the grill off and try re-lighting again.

0Wasnt hard to put together. Still have to light it up.Edit sep2020 Its been over a year since I have the grill and still works like clockwork. We use it 2-3x a week and its amazing no rust or any problems

0This is a really great grill for the money. There really are lights in the knobs! Makes for a pretty cool effect on your porch. This grill does require assembly. After I’m boxing it, it seem like it would take me all day but it only took about an hour. Just follow the instructions carefully you’ll be fine. All you need is a Phillips head screwdriver
