Are they thick?
Each potholder is about 1/4 inch thick and made of 100% natural cotton, unlike those pot holders made of synthetic materials that will melt or burn when exposed to high heat.

They are fairly thick, and the weave is tight so you won’t burn through them, but soft enough to bend to get a good grip on hot items.

We recommend to wash these before using as the newness of the fabric makes them a little stiff at first. The more you wash them the softer they get.

Is there a pocket in the pot holder?
There is no pocket; but if you want to grab something from the oven quickly, this is a nice thick potholder that’s well made and really protects your hands from heat.

Are these pot holders for kitchen heat resistant?
These can be used to take food from a 400-450 degree oven. They also work well as trivets for hot pots and pans & hot pads for kitchen counter on a wood surface.

Are these washable?
Yes, please machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle, with like colors. Dry on low heat or let them air dry to minimize shrinkage. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
