Easy Assembly, Very SturdyIt’s a rainy day out, so hubby decided to assemble this in the sunroom. He laid everything out according to the directions and made certain all the pieces parts were there. The directions were clearly written and easy to follow. It took about half an hour for him to assemble the basic pieces, and he only needed about 15 minutes of my assistance to slide the bottom panels in and fasten the last end assembly. There were more fasteners than were needed to complete the project, a pleasant surprise. The liner looks adequate for the planter depth; we will need to get some staples to fasten it to the sides and ends. It could have been a bit deeper, but liner material is inexpensive enough should we decide to purchase more.As suggested in several videos we watched, he used some TiteBond Wood Glue on the legs, end caps, and mortise & tenon joinery, leaving the bottom panels with the drainage holes to float freely. Tomorrow we are going to use some Thompson’s Water Seal to make sure that this investment lasts several years. At only 28 pounds, this is light enough for me to move into the position we want. Once placed on the brick pavers we bought, and after filling the bed with dirt, this bad girl isn’t going anywhere. It is solid, sturdy, and doesn’t move when “jiggled”.OK, here’s the bad part: we have to wait until payday to get several more of these raised beds. It is a well-made product, and a good bargain. Yes, we did add about $30 to the project (glue, brick pavers, and water seal, which will be more than adequate for the next few beds we buy), but that’s nothing compared to thelength of time we expect to get out of this garden bed.

Looks good – two people to assembleWhen this arrived, first thing we did was to verify all pieces were included. Couldn’t locate to top caps. Contacted the vendor and after a little bit of lost in translation, they offered a discount to keep the item. While trying to assemble, one of the long side pieces was warped and very difficult to try to get into end piece. Damage was being done trying this, so contacted vendor again to advise. They advised that they would send a complete new one and to keep to one we had so that hopefully between the two we would be able to complete one. It is not easy to assemble. Really need two people and a battery operated screwdriver. Otherwise your hands and wrist will be worn out. Also a rubber mallet is handy. Overalll, completed product looks great.

This is an awesome planterIt is very well put together. Nice sturdy beautiful panels. Strong legs. Too about 30 minutes to put it together. Very good instructions to follow. And the caps on the legs actually holds up the liner if you tuck a little piece up under it. I’m going to definitely be getting another one!!!

Great product and great customer serviceI read the reviews about Best Product items which were all good before choosing this raised bed. I am not disappointed- it was easy to put together, is sturdy and I am very happy. When I opened the box and checked the items I appeared to be missing package 5. I emailed customer service and received a reply within 30 mins. The missing parts were attached to the bolts in item 6 so nothing was missing but I was impressed how quickly customer service got back to me. I would say buy with confidence

You will need to buy non toxic finish for itI like the size and depth. It was not easy to put together because of odd side bolt and screw . I had to take apart half of it to make adjustments. Directions say it takes 20 min but there aren’t enough directions to explain a few things. It also needs to have a non toxic sealer put on it or it will ruin from water.

Assembly and finished product.Pretty nice boxes. Went together easily and the instructions were well written. Both of the two I ordered had small chips out of the wood, but not a big deal. Arrived promptly and not damaged in shipping.

Great veggie planter. No more bending over to tend to the veggies and herbs. Have three of these raised bed planters and only wish I had more room for more.

great idea, wonderful cedar, hard to put togetherThis planter is just the right height for me to use it in a wheelchair. I love that it is made of cedar, which should insure some longevity. That being said, the wood on the bottom of the planter is a bit thin, and since it will be moist much of the time I worry that it will not last very long. Only time will tell about that one, as it will surely last a couple years. That might be enough given the pleasure I will get from being able to garden again. It was a bit difficult to put together, but again totally worth it. Very well constructed. Overall I love it and can’t wait to get it filled with plants.

Hard to put togetherBetter to have a helper to get the two sides together. Seems strong. I added legs to it to put it up higher for me. I added about 2 feet to it with scrap wood I had.

Great Raised BedIf you’ve got a drill and an ikea building background, you’ll be just fine. Had it built in 30 minutes and looks great. Not the sturdiest thing I’ve ever seen, but solid value nonetheless.
