0First: the color, it is definitely a “sponge-like” effect and more champagne type distressing. Not so brass. More neutral.
However. That being said, it works really well if you have mixed finishes. Second: This is “light and open” and has the perfect lighting with the candelabra bulbs.
This would be excellent over an island or bar as well.
Reference: This is hung in a room with 9’ foot ceiling.12’x7’ room

0This is one amazing light fixture! I ordered the bronze, which was actually beautiful in and of itself, however, I painted it black and antique brass for my decor. It is a statement piece. It was also much less expensive than the versions available in stores in my city. You will be pleased with this purchase!!!

0I love this pendant! I waited for several months for it to come back in stock but it was worth the wait! Very easy to install. Some of the bars that hold the light bulbs were crooked but we carefully bent them until they were straight.

0Can’t beat the quality and price of this chandelier. It is labeled an island pendant but is perfect over our 8 foot dining table. The color of the metal is interesting. It looks like it is sponge painted antique brass and oil rubbed bronze. Or kind of like someone took a dry brush and featheredlayered those colors. Since we have both oil rubbed bronze and satin brass in our kitchen, this color worked well for us to tie the two metals together. But, if you are looking for a typical brushed brass or gold, note that this is not that. I have added quite a few photos to show the color and detail of the pendant. Our only con on this one is that the downrods don’t give you a lot of options for hanging height. I wanted to hang it lower, but it was either this height or another 12 inches down, or something like that, according to my husband who installed it. We would’ve had to use the chains to get it at the exact height we wanted, but preferred the look of the downrod.

0It lights up my whole kitchen and gives it a much needed update.The fixture has an airy feeling to it and you can see through it as opposed to my heavy looking old fixture I had up.Sounds crazy ……but the ceiling feels taller.
