0Beautiful distressedaged look to it but mine did come with a strong order almost like cedar chips. But after a few days the smell went away.
The shelving in between is a metal design which I didn’t care I just wish they would specify that in the listing.
Putting it together was a breeze and I did it in less than 20 minutes. And clearly my one pup thought it was for her! Ha!
I currently use my shelf in my office to hold my printerpaper and shipping supplies. I may order a couple more to help organize the rest of my business supplies.
Even if I didn’t end up using it for my office I would love this in my house somewhere as it’s stunning!!!

0It was really easy to put together. I’m always nervous about buying new items that are made to look old because it can look really fake, but this one was very well done. The chipped paint looks pretty authentic. The metal shelves are an awesome touch. It has a slight wobble to it, but it kind of adds to the charm.

0Very easy to assemble and exactly the look we were going for.We ordered two and one was missing a spindle, but we actually ended up leaving one shelf out to make it a little bit shorter so it was no big deal.

0Double Update… I joined a book of the month club and now I needed a FIFTH bookcase… my neighbor is obsessed and is ordering one for herself! And I am part of the neighbors program, but these were all purchased outside of that program. They were not received as part of that program. I just really love them that much.
Update- I moved and now have a second bedroom. I ordered two more so Id have four matching ones. I still love them. They’ve held up well through a cross country move though I did disassemble them and boxed them up for the transportation. It went great.
hard to find rustic bookcases… I ordered right away and really like them. They assembled uber-quickly – I got two and they are placed next to each other. Because the shelves are painted metal, they can be a little uneven by like an inch here and there … which for my shabby chic look is just fine. But in case that is a thing for you… you may want to just be aware.

0Putting it together took a few minutes to figure out but it turned out beautiful. Pay attention to weight restrictions per shelf. The shelves are not thick solid wood, they are more similar to wicker (although not actually wicker) and so will sag if you place more than the limits say. Beautiful piece, the rustic finish does not look cheap but rather well aged.
