0I did not open the package because it is a gift but I can tell its going to be appreciated by my son. This is thicker then I imagined so good quality product. I opted for the king size even though he has a queen size bed because a lot of his blankets end up on the couch so this would be a welcome warm blanket since he has a leather couch.

0It is very warm and beautiful.It is a double blanket, like two blankets sewed together at the edges.I use it as a blanket under the quilt but it is big enough to use it as a quilt if I wanted.
